Lyn Churchill, C.P.A.
Lyn Churchill has been with the Firm since its inception in 1984, and is a shareholder with over 30 years of public accounting experience in the Mid-Hudson Valley Region. His concentration throughout these years has been in the governmental accounting and small business areas, while his background in accounting and auditing also includes not-for-profit, manufacturing, and wholesale industries.
Lyn is a graduate of New Hampshire College. Over the last ten years he has focused his continuing education on areas of consulting and financial planning for small businesses and individuals, including being certified as an ISO 9000 quality systems consultant. Complementing this education, he has also become licensed in recent years as an financial advisor. Included in the services offered are projections and budgets, current financial plans, retirement planning, and estate planning.
Along with his professional life, Lyn has also been an active member of the community. In addition to his past activities with the local Red Cross Board, Chamber of Commerce, and Boy Scout Council, Lyn is currently an adult leader in his community's Boy Scout Troop, assistant treasurer of Kingston Rotary, Region 2 Membership Chair for Rotary District 7210, and an officer in the Kingston Elks Lodge. He also speaks periodically at seminars and continuing education courses. A native of Ulster County, NY, Lyn resides in Hurley, NY with his wife Linda. In his spare time Lyn enjoys outdoor sports, including fishing and hunting.
